  • Open for Business - Where to Park
    Downtown shops, restaurants and offices are open and happy to serve you. There is plenty of parking along Main Street, in the renovated Liberty Street Parking Lot, municipal lots on Fourth and High Streets, at City Hall, and along side streets. Many businesses have side or rear parking areas as well.
  • DDA Facade Improvement Program
    Downtown Commercial Property Owners are invited to partner with the Downtown Development Authority's FACADE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM for improvements to their buildings. The DDA provides a combination grant plus zero interest loan for up to $10,000 for approved application.
  • Downtown LED Street Lighting
    Belleville DDA recently converted to energy efficient street lighting in the downtown to reduce energy and maintenance costs. A retrofit with new LED lighting has been approved for the existing 130 vintage light poles were retrofit with new LED lighting. The DDA received an energy rebate from DTE's Energy Saving Program towards the cost of installing the new LED lighting.

    With the new streetscape and Main Street, our Downtown showcases our community's hard work, and dedication to maintaining Belleville's reputation as a beautiful Downtown on the Lake.
